Information about PowerSchool


PowerSchool is managed by the Summit school system administration, and is not affiliated with the SHS PTO.  PowerSchool allows you to monitor your child’s grades on an ongoing basis.  An additional service allows you to sign-up for daily PowerSchool e-mail blasts about important school events.  Please make sure that your PowerSchool information is up-to-date by following these simple steps:

  1. Log onto PowerSchool at
  2. Go to the navigation bar on the left side of the screen and click on “Email Notification.”  This is the 7th option from the top.
  3. The center section of the screen now has the heading “Email Notifications.”
  4. Review and update your contact information and click on “Submit” at the bottom right of the screen.

If you are a current user, all of your account information is located here.  Please make sure that your contact information is current.

You also can create a new account on this site if you are new to the Summit school system.
